The Theatre-Russia Part II

So when I was in Russia, we danced at the Bolshoi Theatre.  This is one of the most historic stages!  We actually danced on the new Bolshoi stage because the old original one was under construction.  Either way it felt like such an honor to be in such a great theatre and perform on such an amazing stage.
Here are a few pictures from the theatre...

Inside the 'New" Bolshoi theatre.

Taking class on stage.  (I don't know if you can tell, but the stage is raked.  Which means that the stage itself is not flat.  It is sloped upwards away from the audience.  It is intended to improve the view for the audience.  But let me tell you...it is sooooo hard to get used to when you usually dance on flat ground!)

Boyfriend and I on a cold afternoon!
