Polka-dot long dress

Alright so I know it's been what seems like FOREVER since I have blogged!  And I am sadly here to tell you all that I am taking a temporary break from blogging!  I love it so much, but it is just way too much for me to do right now.  I am so busy performing and rehearsing all the time, I have absolutely ZERO free time.  I will try and maybe check in every once in a while via Iphone photos.  Because of this bad news, I decided to (temporarily) leave you with one of my all time favorite outfits!  So here she is people... this is polka-dot dress!  I lucked out and found her on sale at Athropology one random window shopping day.  It was love at first sight!  Isn't she pretty!  She is soooo great because she is long and comfy and can be dressed up or down!  I love her and I hope you all do too!

Madewell Dress

Hey!  So I just started my 2011 season at the Metropolitan Opera House on Monday!  (More pictures and posts to come of all of this).  Its kind of a crazy schedule, and thats why I haven't been able to post much lately.  I am even maybe considering taking a fashion post hiatus until after the season is over?  Still not a done deal though....so don't hate me yet!

Chambray Shirt

I have been delaying this trend of the chambray shirt for a while now.  Simply because I could never find one I liked on sale.  But while on a shopping spree at Madewell the other day I cracked.  I finally did it...I got a chambray shirt.  And let me tell you, it is as magical as everyone makes it out to be.  It goes with absolutely EVERYTHING!  So I would like us to all take a moment to say welcome to the new chambray shirt.  I am sure you will be seeing a lot of her!

Camel Dress

This dress was such a great cheap find at Target!  (One of my co-workers has it is green as well...love the green too).  And these shoes...

AMAZING.

And so comfortable.  I can't tell you how many compliments I get when I where them.  They are a lot of fun.

Anyway...
Today was my last two day weekend off for a while. We start performing at the metropolitan opera house next week! I am very excited but I can also pretty much say adios to any kind of social life! So today was very busy! I had to do all my errands (actually still at the laundromat as I am writing this), had a photoshoot for work (photos to come), and had to meet with the missionaries (one of the missionaries is transferring). But despite all of that boyfriend was kind enough to take me out to shake shack! Yummy!

Shake shack is probably one of the closest things to heaven on earth for me!

Happy Mothers Day

I am doing a special Sunday post today!  I wanted to give a special Mothers Day shout out to my mom, and my two sisters (one with child, and one with child to come!!!)  I love them all very much, and they have all been such a huge influence in my life.  Each one of them an AMAZING mother of their own or to be!

Date night tonight! We went to a restaurant called LAND Thai Kitchen. I was craving some good chicken pad Thai but ended up being extremely disappointed. The drunken noodles were good though. Then we went to 16 Handles for some froyo! It was delicious and it saved the night! Plus I always adore how boyfriend eats his chocolate explosion. He is like a little kid...covered in it!

Floral sweater

A little more black and white for you for the weekend.  I know you probably can't tell, but this sweater is a beautiful yellow, white, and black floral color.  It adds a bit of SPRING to any outfit.

Black and White

Hey!  I guess my theme for this week is black and white.  I didn't really realize...but all my post are that.  I know this is kind of a boring outfit, but I love this top.  And every time I where it, I always get so many compliments.  And then I proudly tell them where it was from!

Fried Egg Sandwich

So yesterday was my day off work.  I slept in a little (OK maybe ALOT), then after doing a bunch of errands I decided to put some food in my belly.  After contemplating whether to simply order in the usual weekend sandwich from the Deli on the corner (Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a Croissant), I decided to attempt to make a version myself!  This was huge, people...HUGE!  I made my first Fried Egg ever!  And it was delicious!

P.S.:  I tried to edit out the time on my stove, because YES I was a lot embarrassed to be eating breakfast at that time.
